Released during Patient Safety Awareness Week 2026, the NAM’s Healthy Providers, Healthy Patients project elevates stories that show how outcomes improve when patients and clinicians are true partners in care. These experiences highlight what becomes possible when clinicians can engage in shared decision-making and are supported to listen and respond to patient and community concerns.
