About this Event

When: January 21, 2016 | 8:30 a.m. EDT

Where: National Academy of Sciences Building (Lecture Room) | 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20418

In collaboration with the PCORnet Clinical Data Research Networks (CDRNs) and HealthCare System Interaction and Sustainability Task Force, the NAM will convene an invited group of senior leaders from health delivery centers and systems for a face-to-face meeting. Invitees will include representatives from the NAM Health Care Executive Leadership Network for the Learning Health System. The meeting, which will be a component of the PCORnet Health Systems Demonstration Project, will engage executive-level stakeholders in a sustained consideration of ways to ensure the relevance and value of health systems learning projects, and, in particular, those within PCORnet; providing input to the Demonstration Project’s early pilot projects as well as the strategic priorities expansion; discussing how improved data might impact systems’ performance, measurement, and operations; and exploring the prospects for the use of common data models to get measurement sets.
