The Relationship Between Leadership and Physician Well-Being: a Scoping Review
Published in Journal of Healthcare Leadership, the following review is a scoping analysis of the existing literature to address the potential relationship between organizational leadership and physician well-being? The objectives identified are to: 1) identify the degree to which physician health is under threat; 2) evaluate the evidence linking leadership with physician well-being; 3) identify alternative ways to approach the problem; and 4) outline avenues for future research. The article concludes by discussing contexts of theory, methodology, and impact of progress in the field.
