The Lifestyle Habits and Well-Being of Physicians in Bahrain: a Cross-Sectional Study

This study examines health and lifestyle habits among Bahrain physicians practicing primary care. The prevalence of hyperlipidemia, hypertension, diabetes, behavioral risk factors, obesity illustrates a pattern of lifestyle habits and obesity. The main findings suggest that BMI is associated with sleep time, age, gender, and diagnosis of hypertension or hyperlipidemia. More pro-activity in assisting physicians attain healthier lifestyles is advised in public health sectors.
