Physicians’ Resilience – Salutogenetic Practices and Attitudes of Experienced Physicians

Identifying efficient coping mechanisms, strategies, and attitudes that contribute to long-term job satisfaction and biopsychosocial health throughout is the primary purpose of this German research study. Five themes comprised of 30 categories were identified: (1) relating to patients and colleagues, (2) dealing with structural restrictions, (3) maintaining private relations and (4) fields of interests, and (5) developing self-awareness. Empirical salutogenetic practices and attitudes are specified.
