Personal and Organizational Determinants of Well-Being at Work: the Case of Swedish physicians
Type:
Peer-Reviewed Literature
This paper tests analyzes possible links between personal, organizational, and cultural variables that affect burnout (disease) and vigor (health) in Swedish physicians. An architecture was developed predicting 59% of the data collected from the Uppsala Burnout scale. Regression tree analyses reveal determinants of high-burnout risk and configurations for enhanced health; the architecture is instrumental for designing effective preventative measures.
