Moving Toward Evidence-Based Interventions for Trainee and Physician Wellness
Shea’s commentary article in JAMA Internal Medicine, discusses data from a longitudinal study exploring depression during the internship year following graduation from medical school. Marked increase in depressive symptoms were found, particularly in women with work-family conflict accounting for one third of the symptoms.
