The following policy statement, by The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), provides several recommendations for employers to adopt, in order to enable women to have productive and sustained emergency medicine careers. Such policies will enable the emergency medicine specialty to maintain a diverse and talented workforce, thereby strengthening the field as a whole.
