Interventions to Prevent and Reduce Physician Burnout: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Published in The Lancet, the following is a systematic review of interventions aimed to prevent and reduce physician burnout. The authors found that structural or organizational strategies can result in clinically meaningful reductions in burnout among physicians. Further research is needed to determine how organizational solutions might be combined to deliver even greater improvements in physician well-being than those achieved with individual solutions.
