Impact of Stress and Work-Family Conflict on the Mental Well-Being of Physicians: Mediation by Job and Career Satisfaction

This study, published in British Journal of Health Care Management, explores how perceived stress and work-family conflict impact mental well-being of physicians. The findings report a strong correlation between all three variables and job satisfaction and career satisfaction to be a strong mediator of the impact. Organizational interventions aimed at improving mental well-being should enhance job and career satisfaction by providing supportive environments, opportunities for career growth, and diversity of work.
