Kreitzer’s article in Medical Teacher discusses the culture in healthcare as being on in which students have are to forego personal needs, endure stressful environments, and emerge from highly dysfunctional environments to care settings where wellbeing is also largely ignored. Three curricular innovations are highlighted that target students, trainees, and practicing professionals in health care. Strategies are highlighted that both help individuals cultivate resiliency and address system issues that contribute to unhealthy learning and work environments.
