Can Dietary Supplements Improve a Clinician’s Well-Being and Health?

Based on nutritional studies in athletes and military personnel, this article evaluates the use of diet and supplements to improve cognition, mental well-being, and physical performance in clinicians. Based on evidence, the authors suggest that dietary supplements might be beneficial for concentration and endurance; specifically, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B3, vitamin C and associated antioxidants, vitamin D, and protein are recommended.
