Burnout, Career Satisfaction, and Well-Being Among U.S. Neurologists

The following study, published in Neurology, aimed to understand the prevalence of and factors that contribute to burnout, career satisfaction, and well-being in U.S. neurologists. This study analyzed data from over 4,000 U.S. Academy of Neurology members and used a validated measure of burnout, career satisfaction, and well-being. The study found that burnout is common among all neurology practice settings and subspecialties and the largest driver of career satisfaction is the meaning neurologists find in their work.
