Anxiety and Stress Reduction in Medical Education: An Intervention

Published in Medical Education, this study assesses a stress reduction elective in second year medical students. With higher initial anxiety scores, the intervention group showed significant declines in anxiety levels during the course. Moreover, the decreased anxiety levels were sustained for 3 months following the conclusion, suggested the posited benefits may be long-lasting.
