Webster Equity Partners

Webster Equity Partners collaborates with its portfolio companies to emphasize the importance of understanding climate-related impacts on access to care and patient health. Recently, Webster Equity Partners conducted a joint study with Columbia University to assess the likelihood of climate-related events disrupting its portfolio companies’ ability to maintain consistent levels of care, and to examine how these disruptions might adversely affect the diverse populations they serve. The study revealed that certain populations, particularly those with lower socioeconomic status, are disproportionately at risk of negative health outcomes due to climate-related disturbances in healthcare delivery. As a result, Webster Equity Partners is committed to closely monitoring and raising awareness of climate-related impacts on its portfolio companies to understand and mitigate the risks that could impede Webster Equity Partners’ ability to provide equitable and essential care to those who need it most.
