The School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota includes Planetary Health in its mission. Every student in its BSN, MN, DNP, and PhD programs graduates with knowledge of the multiple planetary health crises and how they can use their nursing to lead and support mitigation and adaptation efforts. The Center for Planetary Health and Environmental Justice at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing has developed Planetary Health curriculum and threaded it through all of the BSN, MS, DNP, and PhD courses. Every future nurse and nursing leader graduates from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing is prepared to care for patients/communities and lead health care organizations in a climate changed world.
