PRO: Promoting Healthier Lives for All

PRO is a team of epidemiologists, physicians, and data scientists dedicated to describing the health impacts of climate change on individuals and communities. PRO’s 2025 aim is to develop a free interactive tool that responds to simple language queries from the public, such as “in my community, how might the trend in increased wildfire smoke impact my children’s life expectancy?” The tool will offer tailored responses based on location, time frame, climate condition, and health factors. Intended users are policy makers, health care providers, public health agencies, community-based organizations, educators and the public.
