Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health

The Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health is a program by the George Mason University Center for Climate Change and Communication and organizes major medical societies representing over 1 million physicians and health professionals focused around three key messages:
Climate change is harming Americans today, with people of color and communities living in poverty experiencing greater harm.

The way to slow or stop these harms is to decrease the use of fossil fuels and increase energy efficiency and the use of clean energy sources.

These changes in energy choices will improve the quality of air and water and bring immediate health benefits.

The Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health has a wide range of resources that can teach individuals and organizations on climate health, such as advocacy, election, messaging, webinar resources, and more.
