Mass General Brigham strives to integrate sustainability into its clinical, research and educational activities, and to improve the environmental health of the health system, as well as the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Mass General Brigham works toward this goal through mitigating its own environmental impacts, researching better ways to deliver environmentally-responsible care and how climate change impacts its patients, educating its people and communities about the inextricable links between the environment and human health, and advocating through science for better public policy addressing the climate crisis and other environmental concerns.
