Health Care Without Harm seeks to transform health care worldwide to reduce its environmental impact, become a community anchor for sustainability, and a leader in the global movement for environmental health and justice. Health Care Without Harm has built a global network intersecting human and planetary health, with regional offices in Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and US and Canada. Health Care Without Harm has developed a three-pillar framework for health system action on climate change: 1) Mitigation, lowering the emissions and implementing low-carbon health care delivery; 2) Resilience, preparing health care sector facilities for climate impacts, and 3) Leadership, having health care institutions and professionals act as messengers for climate crisis as a public health crisis.
