Climate Health Now

Climate Health Now organizes and mobilizes the California health community to advocate for equitable climate solutions. In 2024, Climate Health Now’s efforts involved, 1) coaching 3 teams of health professionals across California to design, implement, and evaluate a healthcare sustainability project through its Healthcare Sustainability Fellowship, 2) providing general education to the California health community in topics such as impacts of climate change and fossil fuels on health as well as on personal narrative and community organizing as a means of creating change, and 3) advocating for policies at a state level to protect the climate and promote health equity.
