The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Sjöberg Foundation announced today that National Academy of Medicine (NAM) member Catherine J. Wu has been awarded the Sjöberg Prize. She was awarded the prize, worth $1M, for her research that may result in the “development of personalized vaccines to treat cancer.” Wu leads the Division of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapies at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and was elected to the NAM in 2019.
