The potential scope of topics for this Interest Group include:
- Evidence basis for firearm injury prevention, including innovative interventions, translation and implementation to scale, and identification of risk and protective factors.
- Effective and appropriate interventions and local, state, national, and clinical policies to reduce firearm harm.
- Gun violence and mental health
- Social, economic, political, and ethical determinants of health related to current disparities and historical inequities which foster firearm-related injuries.
- Firearm research methods and data infrastructure
