CCN Meeting June 2025

Key Meeting Takeaways:

  • The Network convened the Regional Clusters. The Policy Cluster narrowed the focus of its listening session on extreme heat, revisited the event’s format and agenda, and continued identifying potential speakers. The Funding Cluster established priority regions and topics for its roundtable series, expanded its list of potential speakers, and developed strategies to maximize session impact. The Youth Engagement Cluster engaged in a visioning discussion centered around building and sustain youth engagement and leadership within the CCN.
  • Members and Strategic Partners broke out into Member Action Plan Small Groups to share project updates, identify barriers to completion and corresponding supports, and aligned on immediate next steps for follow up.
  • Scott Hays, Engaging Youth for Positive Change, hosted a Local Policy Change 101 session for the CCN Youth Climate Leaders. Participants learned the basics of local government and policy, engaged in a role play activity, and reviewed resources to analyze community issues.
