Key Meeting Takeaways:
- MAP Exchange: Climate Communities Network (CCN) Member Mari del Carmen Zorrilla (University of Puerto Rico), with support from interpreter Estefania Buitrago, presented on her Member Action Plan (MAP) strategy and implementation plan and fielded questions from the Network.
- MAP Check-In: CCN Member Raymond Sweet (Hollygrove-Dixon Neighborhood Association) guided the Network through questions, prompting Members to reflect on their communities’ characteristics, the needs their MAPs are addressing, and the strategies and resources they’ve used for MAP implementation.
- CCN Year Ahead Planning: Following a brief presentation on the CCN’s Phase 1 Evaluation findings, the Network participated in a Padlet activity, reacting to 2026 activity and deliverable ideas for the Funding, Policy, and Capacity Building impact areas and offering reflections and suggestions for the Youth Engagement and MAP structures. The Network also suggested ideas for the April 2026 CCN Meeting and NAM Climate & Health Summit.
