Emory aims to reduce its total greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050. From 2010 to 2022, Emory has reached a 39% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions. Emory offers multiple undergraduate and graduate level courses on climate change science and climate change health impacts. Emory’s Climate Research Initiatives provide opportunities to all students on campus to be engaged in climate and health research, teaching, and community engagement.
