Carolina Advocates for Climate, Health, and Equity (CACHE) is a health professional-led organization accelerating equitable solutions to the climate crisis, through:
- Education of a) health professionals through webinars and conferences and b) health professional trainees through one hour overview lectures on climate and health
- Building health care worker collaboratives to drive a transformation to climate-ready, sustainable healthcare systems
- Working with free and charitable clinics and community health centers to assess climate readiness and provide education and resources to accelerate readiness
- Advocating for policies, regulations, and community level changes that will reduce the adverse impact of climate change on health, particularly for the most at-risk communities
