A workshop, sponsored by the Peterson Center on Healthcare and convened by the Institute of Medicine, will engage in a discussion of the issues, challenges, and approaches that present the greatest opportunity creating models of care for high-need patients.
This workshop will focus on the characteristics of and optimum approaches to building sustainable and resilient health systems that are responsive to emerging infectious disease threats and other public health emergencies.
This three-day public workshop will provide a forum for relevant stakeholders to describe and provide input on the core needs and strategies to facilitate development of medical products to prevent, diagnose, treat, and protect from emerging global infectious diseases.
