The program begins at the 33 minute mark.
The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) hosted a discussion of findings from the Covid Crisis Group, led by former 9/11 Commission Executive Director Philip Zelikow. For two years, the group’s 34 experts, including NAM President Victor Dzau and 10 other NAM members, worked together to lay the foundation for a National Covid Commission. With the formal public health emergency coming to an end and an official inquiry nowhere in sight, the members of the group presented their conclusions for the first time ahead of the April 25 publication of their book, Lessons from the Covid War.
